Türkiye’s Raisin Exports Reach $106.9 Million in First Quarter of 2026
Türkiye exported $106.92 million worth of dried grapes in the first quarter of 2026, with shipments reaching 65 countries, underlining the country’s continued strength in the global dried fruit trade.
The latest export figures highlight Türkiye’s established position in raisin production and trade, supported by its fertile agricultural regions and broader competitiveness in dried fruits such as figs and apricots.
Export Performance in Early 2026
According to the latest data, Türkiye’s dried grape exports totaled $106.92 million in the January-March period of 2026.
The figure was close to the level recorded in the same period of 2023, when exports stood at approximately $107 million, indicating a broadly stable performance despite intense competition in international markets.
Industry representatives say Türkiye remains one of the leading suppliers in the dried grape segment, benefiting from strong agricultural capacity and well-established export channels.
Top Export Markets
England was the largest destination for Türkiye’s dried grape exports in the first three months of the year, with purchases amounting to $34.46 million.
The Netherlands ranked second with imports valued at $11.07 million, followed by Germany at $10.89 million and France at $8.7 million.
These figures show that European markets continue to account for a significant share of Türkiye’s raisin exports, reinforcing the region’s importance for the country’s dried fruit industry.
Türkiye’s Position in the Dried Fruit Sector
Türkiye remains a prominent player in the global dried fruit market, supported by favorable climate conditions and productive soils that enable large-scale cultivation of grapes, figs and apricots.
The country also faces competition from exporters including South Africa, Uzbekistan and Iran in the dried grape market.
Even so, Türkiye continues to stand out through product quality, export experience and its diversified customer base across multiple international markets.
Outlook for Exporters
For exporters and investors, the first-quarter results suggest continued resilience in Türkiye’s dried grape sector.
While growth remained limited compared with the comparable period cited in previous data, the sector’s ability to maintain exports above $100 million and serve 65 countries points to sustained international demand.
The performance also signals the strategic importance of dried fruits within Türkiye’s agricultural export portfolio, particularly as global buyers continue to seek reliable suppliers in established producing countries.
